Gauge Cluster Removal
Ok, so this is supposed to be easy, I just need to replace the speedometer cable. The only two screws left in are the ones on top of the dash because i couldnt find a stubby screw driver last night. This damn thing feels like it is glued in place, I was just wondering if it is required that those two screws come out or not?
Thanks in advance |

Re: Gauge Cluster Removal
If you're talking about the ones on top of the cover then yes you have to take them out to get the cover off. The guage cluster is easy to remove. It helps to get a small pen magnet. Anyway, you may not even have to take it completely apart to plug the new speedo cable in.

Pretty much on ea. corner of the cluster cover there are screws (4) covered by small tabs. Remove those with a knife, get in there and the screws will be staring you in the face. Next, just pull the damn thing off then I dont remember next but yea theres like only one way to get in
