walnut dash

How easy is it to take out the walnut trim as I am about to replace it for a black gloss trim? Is there a demand for walnut, will it be easy to sell?

Re: walnut dash

Trying to replace the trim yourself might be abit messy - unless you are good with that sort of thing.

I would probibaly get a professional in to handle it!

Re: walnut dash

Removing the rim is simple, only hard part is trying not to crack the clear coat on the wood taking it off.
A flat tip screw driver or plastic stick like thing is good.
Put it behind the wood and start prying. If you dont care about the old trip then pry on it has hard as you want, break it in 1/2 if you want. Once you get the wood off your notice the hold down plastic points, I believe they are white, orange or yellow. You take your new wood trim and with the alumin tabs on the back push them into the holes. Thats it
