Ok, I was messing around with it and I think I figured out whats wrong. I pulled the spark plugs and everyone of them had the sparker end coverd in water.. not oil not gas... water. I think this car has been in a flood.
great. Still open for suggestions |

Re: 87 Wont Start.
Has it been sitting for a long time? Sounds like you've got water in your gas.

I think that is the case. when I checked the spark pugs there was some water in there. like there was water in the engine. I dont know if it was from the humidity or what.. but eater way I dont know what to do. Im just getting frustrated

Re: 87 Wont Start.
No, do a compression test (see you other post). You've got all the symptoms of a bad head gasket. At almost 20 years old, it's more likely that you have a bad head gasket than a bent valve.
Also, once you have the head off to replace the head gasket, clean all the mating surfaces thoroughly and check the head for flatness. If your gasket is so bad that it's filling the cylinders with water, chances are that it ran extremely hot before it died which would cause the head to warp. A warped head won't seal properly, and even if you replace the head gasket you will still have a leak. |

Re: 87 Wont Start.
good luck finding aftermarket stuff, they don't make anything performance wise for the carborated engine, I own one, and I have a ton of trouble with that engine
