Unhappy Clips to hold the CD Door Shut

We have a 2002 Taurus Wagon and the 6 CD changer is in the back quarter pannel. There are two "flip clips" at the top of the door that keep coming apart, falling off and finally parts are missing. The door is flapping in the wind... Ford says I have to buyt he full interior quarter pannel to get the door and thus the clips. I knwo someone makes and sells them, they are used on my Expedition to close the door to the jack.

Any idea where I can find them in some automotive fastener catalog.

Thanks !

Re: Clips to hold the CD Door Shut

You can always try the junk yard. With so many Taurus' around, your bound to find those clips. It'l be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying them new anyway.

Check with body shops. They have catalogs for all kinds of fastners.
