How common is it for tierods to "break" on a 98 Voyager.
Mine broke yesterday while I was driving about 5 MPH on a slight uphill climb. I thought the car was possesed. I was able to back it off the road but couldn't move it after that. I thought it was the transmission that broke but when my husband came to look at the car he realized it was the tierod. Would this have happened at a higher speed and what would have been the results?
Could this be fowl play? Should I be wondering who my enemies are? LOL.
I just had my oil changed , doesn't anyone ever inspect these things? I'm pretty shacken up about this.
