Replacing Belts and Pulley, Where's Tensioner?
I have a 99 avenger, 2.5L. I am replacing my two belts and the smaller/middle size pulley near the front on the car. I'm trying to get the belts off, but I can't find the tensioner? Where is it located at? And pics or diagrams? I tried the one on the bottom near the rear of the engine but that didn't seem to be it. I removed the cover underneath the car that kind of covers the belts to get better access, but I'm not sure where it is. I assume it is a bolt you turn that also rotates the whole pulley arm that releases the tension on the belt? Atleast that's how my Camaro works? Any help? Thanks!

Are you talking about the belts that drive your alternator, power steering, and AC compressor?

Re: Replacing Belts and Pulley, Where's Tensioner?
There are two bolts on the one for the alternator/ power steering pump. You have to loosen the one on the side before loosening the one up top. As for the other Maybe this pic will help, maybe not but we'll see.
