Trade b16a for 300zx?

hey guys as you may or may not know, ive given up all hope on my automatic b16 crx. in any case ive put about 5g into the motor total with the cost of buying it.

now my friends dad has this ultra clean 90 300zx, t-tops, rims, exhuast, 5spd, 1137k on the odo, mint paint, and mostly mint interior. he wanted to trade me the car for the motor? im asking you guys to see what you might think of this deal.

ive seen the car myself, the outside is mint and the interior only has a tear in the drivers seat, much like a honda would, but believe me when i say the rest is perfect. it mayt actually be a 94 or 95, cant really remember.

if you go for the 300zx make sure the timing belt has been done because there a paint to do

B-engines are getting more rare and more expensive every day, but they keep making aftermarket parts for them that keep getting cheaper.

Now, if you really like the 300zx, go for it, but accept the pros and cons.
PROS
-the cars fast, mint, turbo?, I think it has a switch for suspension dampening in the cockpit?(seen it before), reliable car?, straight chick magnet, ect.

CONS
-sucks gas, a real bitch to work on(no room), mods are quite expensive, reliable car?, what is the motive??

In my opinion, if the car is mint in and out, go for it, But check the engine out!!!!!!! Alot of time people that own 300zx bag the shit out of their engines, but if its totally mint and the engine is bagged, go for it because an SR can fit easy, and you get that good power and gas milage again.(plus pick up a few hunnies for me)

I am going throught the same dilema. My brother died in 2002 and the only thing left of him I have is a 90 EF civic that was thrashed. I sold everthing to do it out and dumped like $15000can in it, and have a suspension problem still!!! I'm going to tuff it out and fix all the problems for the legacy of my brother, but if I was in your shoes and all the thing checked out, and I really like the car, go for it.

Do what ever makes you happy and you will never be Disappointed.

yea if its TT you BETTER trade it i mean yea you will be losing the reliability of hondas and all but nissans are still good. I would take it over a b16a ANY day.

if it was a TT i wouldnt even have asked, well it looks as though i will be getting this car no matter what, good thing im a mechanic so if it does have some problems, i can fix them easily enough.
