Buying a early 90's 300zx

hey guys, i might be buying a 300zx some time soon, and was just wondering what kind of problems i should look out for or to be expected to see.

the model is a 2x2, with the t-tops and a 5spd.

try to go 91+. the 90's had a few problems that Nissan fixed for the 91 run of 300zx's.

otherwise, take her for a drive and see if anything is wrong. if you hear anything suspicious...came back and tell us and we will try to give you a quick diagnosis before you buy it.

thanks alot, its actually my friends father's car, and im gonna be trading my built honda motor for it, good deal i suppose, and if i remember it may actually be a 95 not a 90 or 91.

but ill drive it around and tell you guys if i hear anything. thanks again.
