95 ranger hard starting problems

Engine cranks fine but won't start. after about 20 seconds fuel pump comes on and truck starts.
Truck runs without issue.
Hard start usually occurs after truck is shut down for 2-3 hours

Changed fuel filter. Did not solve problem


any suggestions

See if there's a fuel pump relay, and replace it.
