question about Avid motor mounts, Problem

I installed the motor mounts yesterday, went in no problem. I do have an issue tho. the motor is sitting on the radius rods. On the driver side, the crank pully is touching, and on the pass side the tranny is touching.
Any body have any problem like this?

Re: question about Avid motor mounts, Problem

Never heard of this Problem before... you have a LSVtec if my memory serves me right ? might be the crank pulley being too big. I know the B20 one is larger than the B16 one, so possibly the same goes for the B18 swaping Pulley might Fix your Problem.

But just a side note It might be a Problem with the mounts themselves... the only experience I have with the mounts are the HCP (tumbs up) & Hasport (Thumb up) ones, bolth had no problem.

Hey man
I just went out and looked at mine. The clearance is very close on the radius rods but is not touching, as for the crank pully that is close too but still no rubbing.

Has your car ever been in a front end collision ?

no, it's never been hit. i am the second owner, and i knew the original owners. The only thing i can figure is i have 90-93 integra steering knuckles. i know it changed the geometry of the front end a bit.
