Door lock Electrical connector removal

I have a 2000 Jetta in which electric regulator (thing that moves the window up and down) in the passanger door is broke. I can get it all apart, with the exception of removing the electrical connector from the electric door lock mechanism in the door. Because of the way the wiring harness is designed, this connector has to be removed before the old regulator can be removed. This connector is back inside the door and is hard to see, but from what I can tell with a mirror, there is some type of connector lock in there, but cant tell how to push it or otherwise allow it to release the mating half of the connector.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Re: Door lock Electrical connector removal

Alright, I'll bite... where can I find a full list of what and how long parts are under VW warranty? The FULL list. Like I would have known 9 years on the window regulator??

Call up vw. The number should be in your owners manual. Just ask where the nearest vw dealer is. ANd also ask how long certain things are covered under warranty. window regulators are 7 yrs unlimited milage on 99+ vw's
