Vibration on Acceleration?

My wife has a 2000 wagon with 54K miles on it. The car developed a vibration issue upon acceleration. The whole car seems to shake when you hit about 2000-2500 RPMs. We brought the car in and they said it needed an alignment and new front tires. We told them to high speed computer balance as well. Got the car back and there is no difference. Same exact issue. I doubt they even took it for a test drive like we asked. Car was certified pre-owned and still has the extended warranty on everything. What should we be armed with when we go back to fix this issue? No, not a weopon, but I obviously would like to rip the service guy a new one for making us purchase new tires for no reason! Is this a known issue?

Re: Vibration on Acceleration?

My car also develops a vibration, in the morning. Check cv booots, or if you put 5w-30 oil in engine (like water). Is it automatic or manual drive train. Also, for everybdy, europeans, know best how to make manual drive train not automatic.
