Re: Trunk stuff

I have 1 in my car....it's great...If $52.00 is too much , you may consider going to a junkyard...i wouldnt pay more than $10 for it.

Also, you can try www.gmpartsdirect.com. They're around $25.00. The problem I have with getting parts out of that place is its actually a high volume Chevy dealership on the east coast. Its not actually GM. Many times they have to order the part and its put on backorder. Once in, they are good about getting the part shipped out to you. However, the prices are great.

Buy one off e-bay. They got a brand new one selling for $40 and used ones for between $10 and $12. Easier than going to the junkyard.

Try this site: www.car-parts.com. I have found numerous parts for my GP on this site.

Re: Trunk stuff

Just a note to you guys. I work at an AC Delco distributor in Flint, MI, and I can get you most anything you need for well below what a dealer will sell to you. One thing you need to keep in mind though, GM has two different divisions, AC Delco, which basically includes parts with a function, ie emissions, starters/alternators, tune-up, air cond, etc and GM service parts, things like mirrors, trim, body parts, etc.. that are "dealer only". Anything AC Delco, I can get for you at the same price as on GMpartsdirect.com, the other stuff I can get and sell at the same price a body shop or other installer would pay, which is much less than dealer retail. Just give me a call at work, M-F 8am to 5:30pm at (800) 852-6933 and ask for Rich or post what you need here and I will see what I can do for you.
