For the ricer in all of us...

Today I made and installed my 3 inch home depot intake. Since the recirculation tube is next to the air filter now i needed to make a tube to connect it to the BOV. Rubber wasn't cutting it as it kinked too much. So i was looking around in my garage and came across an old vacuum tube. So i cut it, spray painted it and found come clamps. I connect it up and take it for a drive. My windows were up and i had the heat on full blast to clear my windshield up. Now before you couldn't hear my BOV unless the passenger window was down and the blower fan was off. Now it is about 10x more audible and i attribute it to the vacuum tube. I had rubber on it earlier today and it sounded pretty much the same. It's dark out and i haven't confirmed yet if the tubing cracked from the clamps at all. But the car ran the same.

So if your mommy didn't show you any attention as a child you can get it from others on the road when you're shifting gears with "timmy's vacuum tube blow off valve recirculation tube mod."

And let me know if you have heard of anyone else or yourself using it so you can ruin my day.

Thumbs up

Some people use a hard pipe found in the sink department at home depot. I jus used the original hose and cut it shorter to match up with my 3in intake and UICP. Sounds louder since I have those pipes. But good quick find!
