I want to know if I could put a 1995 3.8 transmision into my 1995 3.4. Are they the same?

Probably, but I don't know.

I suggest clicking on Camaro before Problem Diagnosis to the left above, delete the post from here and post it on the Camaro main page. You're more likley to find your answer that way.)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the 3.4 I believe is a 60 degree V6 and the 3.8 is (I know) a 90 degree V6 so they won't have the same bolt pattern if so.

Hey there I just did the opposite. i have a 92 pontiac bonneville with a 3.8 and the tranny was a 4T60E and i took one out of a 90 pontiac grand prix w/ a 3.4 and i was also told it wouldn't work but i thought differently so i tried it a bang she fit and works perfectly like it was in the car from the factory

so the answer yes it WILL work
