Talking My New Toy: 1967 Chevy Impala SS (56k wont last)

Ladies and gentlemen, this is my new Ertl Authentics 1/18 Chevrolet Impala SS 427 with some of the best detail I have ever seen in my years of diecast modeling. I even think it's better than all of my Kyosho or AutoArt models. This I suggest too all modelers out there who have a thing for American Muscle and unsurpassed detail. Some details include retractable and moving Radio Antenna, fully functional rear wheel driveshaft that's connected to the gearbox, near independent suspension, imitation rugging, imitation seat padding with somewhat leather feel to it, moving floor-mounted gearshifter, and spring-loaded engine hood hinges. This thing is incredible and I just want to say Ertl has really outdone themselves with this model.

Maybe I went a little bit too photo crazy

Re: My New Toy: 1967 Chevy Impala SS (56k wont last)

Me: $42, $50 total with Shipping, $49.95 to be exact from: www.diecastmuscle.com. This what I call: A GREAT ASS DEAL!!!!!! Also if you were asking how much the Range Rover was as well, that one is $40.

Here's the direct link for the Chevy. First time I bought with this place, EXCELLENT. THeir website posts whether products will be preorder only or not in stock as well as they provide a UPS tracking number.

WOW! That is nicely done. What is most impressive is they resisted, what seems to be, the irresistable urge to put DUBBS on it. CRIPES!! I'm starting to hate those things.

One of my good buddies had a red 327 with a black vinyl top. Went to my first "submarine race" in the back seat of that thing when I was 15. Good memories.
