Fuel System Questions
If I end up back in the states after I leave Italy I'm gonna take on a pretty big project.
F20C (Honda S2000) motor/tranny into an AE86 Corolla. I've already got most of the angles covered as far as the install goes, except one, fuel system. If I do this project in order to keep initial costs low I'm going to pick up an SR5 model (carburated, 4ac motor) with a straight body. I know that I could take the fuel lines and tank and pump from the GT-S Corolla and use those. But I was thinking as long as I'm going to be going all out on this project, I might as well use a 8-10gal fuel cell, external pump, and custom fuel lines. Would it be as simple as going to a machine shop and having them bend custom lines the way I need them? Or can I use some sort of steel braided line to make it easier? I'm kinda a noob when it comes to this fairly advanced stuff, but I'm trying to learn Any help would be appreciated! Jason |

Yeah, on Jegs I've seen SS flexible lines in like, 5, 10, and 15 foot lengths or something like that, but I dont know if they can handle the psi of fuel injection, if they can then the weren't that expensive and are a fairly good route too go. If you don't mind the money, and hassle, have custom bent lines.

Re: Fuel System Questions
Yeah you could run braided hosing, but it would be a hell of alot cheeper to go hard lines, and you can bend them yourself- no need to go to a machine shop. More than likely you can just modify the factory line.
