2000 Ford Focus SE
Just bought one. 2000 Ford Focus SE with 120,000 miles on it for $2000. Pretty much bought it so in a couple of years my mother could take it off my hands once her crap breaks down. So I'll most likely have this car for about 2 years.

Re: 2000 Ford Focus SE
Sorry about that last post, I had just gotten back from a bad experience with my Ford dealer...
No, in all reality, it should be fine assuming you do keep up on maintanence. You may experience some annoying issues that may appear random, but keep in mind that the 2000 was the first year of the Focus in N. America, so it is bound to have some odd problems.

Re: 2000 Ford Focus SE
Thanks a lot for the info. In my last post, I was just surprised, but the car is in very good condition and i expect to make some few repairs. Doesn't sound that bad and again thanks for the help.

Re: 2000 Ford Focus SE
The 2.0 Split-Port engine on my 2000 Focus just dropped a valve seat. I lasted me 220K miles of hard interstate and paper route driving. I just bought another engine with 23K out of an 03 for 500 bucks...guess I'll be busy this weekend...
