Angry Battery dies overnight

We've had nothing but trouble since installing a flip up DVD/headrest display. Something is causing the battery to discharge with car switched off overnight. We have no idea where to start. Any ideas?

If you suspect it is the dvd then first yank the fuses for that and see if that solves the problem. If not you can systematically pull different fuses to isolate which circuit it is then fine tune it from there till you find the source of the drain.

Re: Battery dies overnight

What year, how many miles, how old is the battery, could you have an alternator on the way out, do you have a voltage meter in the instrument cluster, if so what does it read, when running, when stopped, in the morning?
A little help here, please.

Re: Battery dies overnight

I had this problem in my 01' Yukon. I haven't totally figured out the problem but it has fixed itself. I think it may have been a loose relay in the fuse box area. Every once in awhile I will hear a relay spaz-out, I just swat the fuse panel and it stops. I don't exactly know what the deal is. Hope this helps.
