Finished: Opel Astra V8 Coupe (orange)

Six shots, what do you all think? I know I need work on the window trim, and some of the panels are different shades because I was trying out a new airbrush, but I think it came up pretty well, considering.

Looks good, but it's hard to tell: We're not mogwais, bright light is OK.

Looks good! Question: "Did you try to weather the car?"

GhostDog: Any weathering is a result of my crappy painting >.<

Sticky Fingers: Oh man, those lights were a pain in the butt. What you had to do was paint the back, and then, very carefully, fit all three pieces of the taillight together until they came together with a "snap". But sure, as soon as I charge up my camera (hence the crappy shots), I'll take her outside for some outside shots. Before I go off to college.

Not bad at all! in the future you might want to do i light wet sanding before adding decals so they lay flatter. also you might want to pick up so Micro-sol as well. Nice work though, it looks pretty good.

Re: Finished: Opel Astra V8 Coupe (orange)

Thanks. I'd take a picture with the doors open, since it was a gull-winged kit, but I don't wanna futz with taking the shell off before I head off to college.

Well done, the old Astra is a great looking car. A pity it wasn't a bit quicker on the circuit.

Alright, the coolest part about this car.

Well, if you know your Tamiya kits, you'd know that the Opel Astra V8 Race Car Coupe is special, in that it comes with gullwing doors. So here are pictures I took before I decalled the car, with the doors working
