96 Chev Corsica Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Sticking

Have a 96 corisca 4 cylinder. When sometimes driving 20-45 minutes or slowing down coming to a red light, or just in park for awhile car will make a grumble, start shaking then die on me. Once restarted it's fine. Sometimes have to wait about 5 minutes then its fine again. The mechanic who did my tune up said that the TCC Solenoid needed to be replaced and it's something he doesn't do although he said it's not a difficult job to do. Exactly where is the TCC Solenoid located on a 96 Corsica.

Thanks for your help,

Jaynie
