Intake Suggestions

I know everyone has their own opinion on which intake per say is the best, or works better. But almost all the intakes off of ebay connect to the box on the tb instead of the TB, anyone know for a fact a product or company I can look into for getting an intake that connects right to the TB instead of that box. So many people have told me that the box restricts air flow so Im thinking its gonna be gone soon.

A product reference with pictures would be helpful.

P.S. I searched with no real positive results.

Re: Intake Suggestions

I think Im going to go with RDFabs they look like people who know what they are doing. Plus they are really cheap for an intake that looks like its pretty damn high-quality.

Thanks

Re: Intake Suggestions

Or.... if i would have seen this sooner, just could have clicked the link in my sig...

Crappy pic of the CAI on my 2200 because i am at college and don't have access to my home computer.... The amount of work and quality that goes into these intake is unbelieveable. Seeing Ryan the shop owner weld everything together and how he does it, blew me away. He is very tedious to detail and if its not 100% right, he dosn't let it leave the shop. I should know, i spent 15 min one day removing some gunk on the inside of one of the intakes that was stuck on there from the SS tubing suppliers. If anyone needs anything i can get you incontact with them. One of the sales Reps, Chris is a sunfire owner himself and i've know all of the guys for a good long time now. Never a problem...

Re: Intake Suggestions

just buy a cheap one from ebay. they are all basically the same. you can build one yourself but no one does that anymore. so just buy a cheap one off of ebay they all function the same. i personally wouldnt buy one cause 1:a waste not much in hp gains. and 2:im boosting summer 2006
