04 Paint

I was thinking of trying the Zaino system, and noticed that there's one formula for clearcoats and another for non-clears. Does anyone know if the 04 Z71's (black w/silver trim) used a clearcoated paint?

Zaino is a waxing system. They have one product for paints that are clear-coated (i.e. lacquer) and another for non-clear-coated (i.e. enamel) paints. I need to know if chevy put a clear-coated finish on the 04's.

Not anymore. Enamel used to be the norm ~30 years ago
