Trouble starting

My sister has a 2004 mazda 3 5-door. It has trouble turning over. In order to start it, it takes two to three truns of the key. When you turn the key the first time, the car starts to shake violently. We tried many things to correct the problem like turning the A/C off before starting, turning all electronic off, pumping the gas before turning off the engine. We brought it to the dealer and they said that it's normal and there is nothing wrong with the car. Need help. If you have any suggestions please post. Thank You.

flooded plugs are part of that tsb, as well.
i find that the pump in the tank is more often the cause. valve in the tank gets stuck or jambed allowing the fuel pressure to bleed off when the car is shut off. each time you start it, fuel pressure has to be built up.
