GSR Integra vs 305tbi camaro
I know alot of ppl who have these cars but none of them will race me. I was just wondering who yall thought might win.The integra is just the gsr with cold air and exaust and my 305 has full exaust with tes headers, open element with K&n filter, moroso wires, plugs, tbi spacer, and 3.42 posi rear with aluminum driveshaft

yea i'm with rally here, i don't know what year this integra is but if it's like a 98 or so it's rated the same hp as your car but it's only got 128 foot pounds of torque compared to your 255. only problem you might have is that he can rev up to 8 grand while you've got like 4500, and he's lighter. that's stock for stock though, and with your mods compared to his, he should be

yep thats the reason i brought the discussion here cause i know yall would know...Thats the only thing i fear is the top end but thats why id try to race from a stop to a light.

yea as long as it's not the type r you shouldn't have a problem, they're the ones with the polished intake and exaust ports with the better exaust, you might be able to take one of those but it'd be closer

nah, i think there's the gs-r, and the type r. not really an import fan but a couple of my friends got into them real hot and heavy

youll take it off the line, maybe pull a few carlengths, and then hell catch and pass you. do a stoplight to stoplight run and be the champ
i took an older integra type-R in my bone stock 89 RS with 2.73 gears but otherwise the same as yours, i pulled away and he shut it down, guess he didnt know i was out of steam and he could have passed me, i didnt tell him

You will be faster.I have seen those integras they are just slow and make more noise than torque.
Torque=accelaration And you are probably have 700r4 And he is 5spd-wont shift right I bet. |

He will win an overall race like the quarter mile. My old 305 TBI lost to a minivan just to give you an idea.

Stryker, ever look for that minivan now? Btw, i ain't taking over your thread tcfco, but the kid with the gs-t eclipse back out of a challenge. His cousin is my best friend (Manny). So Manny called him up to start some shit (i didn't wanna race but damn sure wasn't gonna back down), but he chickened out. I think i scared him becuase i left a massive burnout at his house (although it's doesn't mean anything really , but he knows nothing about cars anyways) so all that tire schreeching and smoke probably unprovoked him to try other wise. Would i be able to take a GSR?

fullsize vans will have big engines like that, most minivans have four bangers or maybe a six.

Than it was a one crapy 305, right? Say my 305 TPI cant even be compared with a very low mlg 3.8 Firebird cnv my Dad drives.(it supposed make more hp and similar torque) No way you will be fast in a 4 cylinder unless you stick a giant turbo on it.
Bfore this car I had a 5.7 iroc. The car was a torque monster. Late BMWs, Civics, Integras, Subarus were no match, not even close. |
