Exclamation newly replaced coil keeps going bad! Any experts out there?

my 1993 Maxima SE Twin Cam has following symptoms:
- rough idle
- sparatic RPM Tachometer when doing 55 - 65 MPH. needle goes up and down about once a week
- lights dimming - dashboard, clock, etc
- Power locks work on and off
- tail pipe has a put-put-put release (almost as if it is coughing).

A few months back, i replaced a bad coil (front left). A few days later, the symptoms that i described above began. When i took it into my mechanic, he tested the coil and determined that the same coil i replaced a few months back is bad again! he tested it right in front of me. It seems that if i continue to buy new coils to replace the bad one, the new one will also get damaged! Does this mean that this is some sort of electrical problem? What is damaging my Coil? How can i find what the root of the problem is (everytime i put a new coil in, it gets "burned" and turns bad)? Any ideas anyone?

Typical problem after five years in all computerized vehicles is oxidized connector pins, groundings. Check out pages: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/1
