Hello! I need help please.
I just got a 97 RS with gray interior, and the previous owner tore up the molding in the back. I need to know where to get the little clips that hold the molding in place. I also need to know where to get the weather stripping that goes around the driver side window. Also, the windows seem to move real slow. Is there something I can do make them faster? Thank you in advance! |

Re: Interior parts
Are the windows slow all the time or just when the car isn't running?

They are slow all the time. I have two other cars, and this Camaro is at least 3x slower. They go up and down, but I timed it at 10 seconds for up and 12 for down. |

Re: Interior parts
Hmmm, sorta makes me think the window lift motors are going out, you might want to look into replacing them unless you track it to something else...

Re: Re: Interior parts
Best place to get the interior parts is probably a junk yard. Unless you go to the dealer, I don't think you will find them new.
You should be able to find the weatherstripping at http://www.classicindustries.com/, or a host of other sites... |
