Hey, I fixed it. Linkage that is.((56K beware))

the sway bar linkage. After I replaced them both sides. I looked at the pics I took of before and after. Not sure if that was the problem. And I say this becuase I forgot to grease'em up and when I took it out for a test I still heard a clunk or two. I then sprayed the bushings with siicone spray. and not sure if that worked. oh heres some pics of todays fun.

Yes when I was underneath doing linkage. I mean they looked solid and in pretty good shape. heres the thing. I lost my license do to a bad choice on my part. Not D.W.I.. lol I'm in the process of getting it back. Actually this friday 26th I take my road test. I need to get the Blazer Inspected or I cant take the test. I have a couple concerns This clunk and a coolant leak(I thought I fixed) I know where it leaks from just getting to and fixing it may be an undertaking I'd have to set aside a whole day for. Im just hoping it passes. Once I get my license back and get back to a normal schedule I'll slowly fix everything. Do you guys think it'll pass even with these 2 problems?? Crossin fingers. lol.

Can't speak for everywhere, but around here, those things shouldn't be an issue for an inspection. Windshields, wipers, lights & signals, that sort of thing is what they are worried about, but I don't think that we are as stringent as some states about vehicle inspection.

Still, of course, you'll want to take care of the problems. The coolant leak in particular is something you want to eliminate this time of year, especially.

Girlbear, You'll be fine with the inspection as long as there are no Check Engine Lights lit up. Hey, Did you draw that picture of the green car?

I wish I had a lady friend that could swing a wrench . Or even check the oil , or open the hood for that matter . Mine doesn't have the concept of bump the starter , it always turns into a 3 second spin . I like a gal that can handle a tool . Girlbear, You go girl . You got a fan here . Rob
