I'd have to get a Caterham, if for no other reason than the sheer history and character of the machine.
And I'd have to get an older Caterham with an old Cosworth four-banger or Rover K series engine. I don't want anything that doesn't have a brace of side-drafts hanging off the side.

Re: Lightweighs.....
i think the atom probably is going to be more extream due to its weight.

Re: Lightweighs.....
I thought the Ariel used a supcharged K20A while the K1 Attacked is normally fitted with a supercharged B20Z or RSX engine.
The reason I say normally is since the K1 is a kit car and can be fitted with any engine you can manage to fit or fabricate to put in there. Such as how that West Philadelphia class put an eletric motor in the front and turbo diesel in the back. |

Re: Lightweighs.....
I think thats the engine I meant. It is just that I got mixed up after hearing about someone wanting to get a K1 and fit in a H22A with CRV (B20Z) heads and supercharge it.

As far as I knew the Atom only had two engine options, a B16B from a civic type R or a supercharged one making well over 300hp.

I heard about how the Atom has a supercharged B16B on Top Gear, it also pulled one of the fastest track times. Does anyone know if the Caterham CSR was faster? |
