I hope someone can me some insight. I have a 91 grand marquis and it has been running great up until today. While driving home from work I noticed the car was running funny so when I got to the light I put it in neutral because it seemed like it wanted to die out. The upon going again it still seemed like it wasn't running right. When I got home I shut it off and now it will only start when in neutral and after it's running in neutral once I put it in reverse or park it automatically just dies out? Transmission is still running fine. any ideas?

Re: Grand Marquis Starts In Neutral Only?
When you say, "running funny", what exactly do you mean?
-edit- Also, I agree with CobraDude, the safety switch for Park may have gone. But more info is needed....
