Question About Taking Trunk Lid Liner Off
I want to replace my licence light bulbs and took a look at the liner for the trunk lid...there are about 20 of those platic clips holding it in...are those the only things holding it in? is there a seal around the edge holding the carpet tight? Should I use one of those door clip pullers to get the plastic clips off? and is the interior of the trunk also held in with just those types of clips too?

Those black plugs just pull out. You'll have to use a screwdriver or an upholstery tool to get the plugs started out. They can be re-used to don't break them or tear them up. You don't have to remove ever single one of the plugs. You should just remove the lower 5 or 6 six plugs and the back of the lincense plate surround will be exposed.
