i would check out all the fuses in the truck, i am not sure if it will help, also check the connectors that the cluster plugs into in the dash and make sure that they are not corroded or rusted or bent. if everything seems fine i would say the cluster burnt out, and you cant always tell that it is burnt by looking at it.

Re: Lights out on cluster

I've read in different forums that the LCDs on the Cluster will sometimes flicker like that which usually means that you have a bad connection inside or something is wrong with the cluster itself. I can't remember the guy's "nickname" in here that said he took his apart and re-heated all the solder points on the Mileage indicator and said it's been fine ever since.

However, if your not that electrically inclined or have the time to do it here's a site that repairs'em. http://www.mrwhizard.com

When I had my 90 Blazer and the Digital Dash starting acting up I took it apart and resoldered it but, the power supply on board finally failed. I sent it to them and with'in 10 days I had my dash back again and in perfect working order. I highly recommend these guys.

The only thing I'm not sure of is if you can drive these trucks without your Dashboard? IE: Does it cause any problems. It's a question you could ask them though.

Mine Digital Odometer on my 99' Silvy was flickering a while ago but it has since settled down. Cross fingers!
