Does your truck have the Trailering PKG?
Almost all the 1500 non heavy duty trucks I see have the trailering package. I was wondering if there are any '99 NBS and newer that did not come with the package?
If you do not have the trailering package what is your truck, 4.8, reg cab, etc...?

Most do come with the package...however, some don't most the ones which don't have either the V-6 or the 4.8 (at least that I've seen) and tend not to be as well equiped. If you order early enough, you can also get any model Silverado without it (in the non-HD class) I believe. One advantage to having it is the tow/haul mode that comes with it not to mention a heavier duty suspension (probably jusy heavier springs)

my truck has the hitch, the tow/haul switch and the trailer wiring plug all there. every truck that i looked at had them when i was buying mine, but they all were the extended cab and had the 5.3.

At least in 2003 and 2004 and 2005 - I know that the "power package" includes the trailer towing options. The "Power package" is the 5.3 and the trailering options.

i have a 2000 2wd 4.8, it does not have a trailer hitch...however, it does have the tow/haul mode and i checked under the bumper and it has all the wiers but no plug.

Well i have a 2000 4x4 with the 4.8 and it has a hitch, tow/haul mode and the wiring harness.

Trailer tow Package is an option on all Chevy trucks and ALL chevy trucks have the tow/haul mode on the gear selector, whether they have the tow pack or not.
Besides that, who the hell cares????????????
