Water on passenger floor
1990 Geo Metro 1.0 - During the heat of the day with the AC on full blast -- I noticed water pouring out from under the dash on the passenger side - carpet is soaked -- when not using air no leak --
Heater core ? If it is where to buy I ordered a manual today - I would like to do this myself Thanks to all |

Probably not the core. These cars are bad about collecting debris in the plenums that house the evaporator and core. There is a drain tube that exits the lower right firewall. It's most likely clogged. If it is clogged the water produced by the evaporator will leak on the floor.

You are right not the core -- i am going to blow out the hose -- but there is another problem -- what I gwuess to be the plenum and where it meets the evaporator? there is a foam like gasket that is rotted -- that is where the water comes from - is there an easy fix for this? |
