yes mud can be sticky, but if this was a real amphibious assault with enemies waiting for them, everyone of those guys are sitting duck and dead.

Re: off topic -- french troops arriving in iraq. one word; PATHETIC. LOL

Obviously its a training exercise. It does look like high comedy, though. Still, I am sure training clips for anyone's military look stupid.

IMO slagging French troops and the French military is misguided. France has always produced excellent troops, dispite thet fact they were overwhelmed by the Nazis, 65 years ago.

Over the years, France also made excellent munitions and sophisticated weapons systems. (Exocet missles anyone?) If you are a tin pot dictator and want to buy fighter planes etc that are not American or Russian, you buy French. (Mirage)

The fact that they have waded into the Iraq quagmire is astounding, and is to their credit, when so many other nations will not touch it with a pole.

It is a funny clip, though.

how is this obviously a training exercise? the website where i got this from points out these are french troops finally arriving in iraq which i deem more credible than ur assumption. no offense intended, like i said earlier, i just wanted to share this clip cause it was hilarious whether if they're french or any other country's troops.

about france producing excellent troops, i wouldn't know, i do know that ever since france became a country they tend to always be "overwhelmed" by other aggressors. personally, i don't think u want to know what i think of the french, but whatever...

hhmm... this clip was just for a laugh for the guys in the motorcycle forum, however, it starting to get controvertial and way off topic so if the mods want to move it, i don't mind.

sooooooooo, who saw ripleys believe it or not yesterday? there's this guy who hit the back of a van on his motorcycle so they had to amputate his left arm and leg but the guy loves to ride so much that he still rides his aprilia rs50 !(i still don't get how a 50cc bike can go that fast). he customised the clutch and gear shifter to the right side.

The RS50 isn't street legal in all states... and they are pretty darn rare.

rs50 costs about $3K, 200 lbs, sufficient ponies, 2 strokes and single cylinder, peaky, so it's not surprising that they're fast up to 70 mph. couple of people actually bore the bugger out to 75-80 ccs. since it's 2 stroke, most state laws made it track only.
