Hello all Alfa Lovers
I have a Alfa 156 2.0 Selespeed. 2 Weeks ago, I encountered a problem with my car. It seems when the temperature hits 90, the car become unbearable to drive. I experienced jerky, pulsation movements from the whole car. This only happens when the car is warm and accelerates from a complete stop. I took it into my local Alfa dealer and they advised me the clutch has failed and needs replacing. Does this sound accurate? Has anybody else experienced such a problem? Can anyone suggest a course of action? The cost of a complete new clutch is $3000.00 AUD plus labour. Due to the high cost, I m keen to find another solution. Thanks |
