Has any one ever had there TB spring not close your TB all the way? Mine idles fine at start up but once i hit the gas it will rev @ 1900-3200 I can push the TB closed and it is all good. Spring feels real loose also. Have any of you had this happen? How did you fix it?

Re: Tb

Did you unwind the springs in it at any time?
Or has the inner or outer one broke?
Aside from there being tension on the throttle body shaft...does it pivot freely?
Have you done a boost leak test to see if it is leaking out the shaft seals?

Re: Tb

That is usually caused by a dirty throttle body. A good cleaning will usually take care of it. Could also be from the plate not being installed on center after a seal change, if you have done that recently. .

Re: Tb

I have not done anything with it.. No boost leak test yet.. and none of the ears are broken.

Re: Tb

A good cleaning would be the next step. The vfaqs had a good writeup on it.
