91 Crx D16a1 Swap Help !!!!
i put a 89 d16a1 in my 91 crx and i have the stock wiring harness in it and i want to know if it works or not im mean i spliced some wires and changed some plugs like on the dis.. and i got it to start but it runs really rich but runs good between 1 and 2 thousand rpm and wen it hits 2000 rpm it starts backfiring and spitting and sputtering and wont rev any higher ive tryed meny things and im stumped i dont know if i have to change the wiring harness or not i dont want to but i will. Im mean i have all the parts i have a couple integras with d16a1 so i have every thing i need i already made it fit in my 91 crx with stock tranny and monts i just cant get it to rev over 2000 rpm

integra d16a1 hp/tq 113/99 why did you go to all the trouble of putting that engine in? oh and check the dissy wireing again and the crank angle sensor wireing. my car did the same thing when i got a "performance" chip. so mabey the ecu. |

tried all of that no go>>>>>>>>>integra d16a1 and i have integra 18 and a couple of integra cars and it was simple to put it in i did it in a night just somthing to do with some wiring that makeing it take longer ... some one said they did the same thing i did and he had the same prob and he found out that u have to run some wires under the dash some where but he hasent told me does any one else know what hes talking about ??? or have any other ideas
