I called best buy in regards to installing a new deck into my '04 trailblazer ext with onstar...and come to find out it is an extra 160 dollars just for the installation kit. i am going to put subs into the vehicle...any ideas on what i should do...different ways to put new deck in or run it through the factory deck

nope that sounds about right because you need a onstar bypass kit since onstar is ran through your factory dect you can try calling a small shop maybe youll save about $50 bucks because i know they get them for $25-$50 and sell them for anywhere from $75-$100 oh and its the wirring harness that is expensive the kit it self is only $10 at walmart
