ABS is always going on
My ABS seems to go on when I try to stop at slow speeds. You can hear the ABS go on. Some time it goes on more when the Air Conditioning is on. The brakes feel like they don't want to stop. My brakes are ok. It also feeels like the front brakes are the only ones that are working. What could be the problem?

The first thing I'd check is the adjustment on the back brakes.
post the stats on your van - year model, mileage, engine.

It is a 97 Astro AWD 4.3L mileage is 134,000 I checked & cleaned the back brakes and drums about a couple of weeks ago. Then took it to a Automated car wash. Could it be a the rear brakes just out of adjustment and for the ABS to coming on?
