EGR Block off
Will taking out the EGR and using block off plates on a 93 turbo cause the car to throw a code or hinder preformance?

Re: EGR Block off
the only emissions we have, are for cars made after 1996 and it only if you have a check engine light on ..... no under hood check, no tail pipe sniffer... nothing just need a cat

Well in my old MR2 (1993 turbo) I had a JDM motor, Which did not have an egr. Since the engines come like that factory i dont see how blocking the us one off would set off any codes. I dont think you should have any problems. And yea by the way... Dont expect to pass emissions.
