WIP: BMW Z3 (almost finished)

here is my tamiya bmw z3. this is by far the best model i have built, both on my end and on the quality and fitment end. i've only built revell and amt models, and every single one always had some type of fitment issue. i think i'm in love with tamiya now.

this is also the first paintjob i got without orange peel, etc. where i can also see reflections (in one of the pics, i put it on a sheet of paper with typing so you can see the reflection).

the color is 3 wet coats of testors True Blue pearl over a gold base. should i clearcoat this???? or should i just polish it and call it a day?

sorry that was blurry, i was working on 5 min of camera battery charge and didnt want to run out before i could upload!

haha that f-150 probably won't be finished til late december at the earliest. i leave for college again on the 27th, and nothing is painted and i haven't even finished fitting the body pieces. who knows, maybe i'll go nuts and finish it though...

i think i will just leave the paint how it is... i'm nervous about clearcoating because i've never done it before, and i've only polished one car before so my skills are not that good. i don't want to wreck this one! still feel free to leave your opinions and suggestions.

thanks!
