Question Pics of my Sonoma

Ok I just bought this Sonoma like a month ago and I'd like everyone's opinions of it.

Such as is the paint job tacky?

Is this truck worth the $2000 I paid for it?

Your trucks looks pretty good for $2000. What year, how many mile, what extra's. With a little work and money it looks like it could be a decent show truck. Maybe an aftermarket grille, wheels and tires, tint, hard or soft tonneau cover. There is a million things you can do to these trucks to make them look good.

No offense...but if you're going to make it a show truck, ditch the flames, really. Go to a magazine shop and look at Truckin' or Mini Truckin' and count how many trucks have flames. They are completey overrated and old. Christ, i've seen mini vans with flames on them nowadays. This is just my opinion of course. Anyone can do flames, but you have to really think of something original for your truck to be different than the rest.

Well, you don't have to make one. You never specified what your goal with the truck was. None-the-less, I'd ditch the flames.

Alrighty, you asked about the paint so i was assuming you were thinking about repainting it. Good luck with the truck anyway!

Nice truck

Foe $2,000 it looks good; but be aware of the high mileage. These trucks are not made to last so be sure to check out the fluids (ALL of them), bushings, shocks, bearings, joints, tie rods and basically anything else that seems to rot away on American vehicles. Overall it looks really good, just remeber that the beauty is only paint deep, check out the rest to ensure its going to get you where you need to go. My two cents worth.

flames - the colour..

well, if you were from around here, you'd be painting out the red to match the colour of the flames. Similar to the colour of the mud that invariably coats the entire truck when running the sideroads. haha

thats kind of hilarious because I see more toyota trucks rotted out than american trucks. a co worker of mine has a 95 toyota and its a rust bucket to the point where the rear bumper fell off.
