Question 97 blazer front differential wont engage

OK here is what I have checked thus far.

1. Vacuum actuator under battery is fine
2. Cable is free moving.

The pin that the cable hooks into on the differential will not move. Does anyone have any ideas or a diagram of the front differntial?

Please help! It won't be long before the snow flies here in NY and I need it again!

Have you checked the vacuum line going to the vacuum actuator?

Yes sir all is ok down to the differential but I can not get the pin to move at all. I thought that the cable was siezed up but I removed that and it is free as can be. The Actuator is 100% . I tried to move the pin by havd and it will only move about 5mm out and 0mm in.

My dad is a used car dealer but neither of us have had any experience with 4x4 differentials. I guess I will have to get the manual for it and learn all about differentials. Thanks all!
