simple question
Alright, this sounds like an easy question but I'm not sure of it. My 98' cavalier is as basic as it can be. Can I get a keyless entry remote installed even though I have manual locks? (I'm just hoping here...)

pretty sure you cant.
cause they installed a remote starter for my car and the fob had the option for unlocking the vehicle and they might not have hooked it up because it had manual locks. |

Re: simple question
well yeah you can, but you need to install power locks first. Anything you can already get on a cavalier shouldnt be that hard to install on it.

Speaking from experiance, having one put on a 1999 Z24 Cavalier, this can be done without having power locks. They install a power door lock actuator, this will run you up around $400. Good luck with your installation. It took about 2 hours.
