Angry 99 V6 engine shot

I have a 99 rodeo, need I say more. Anyway, I bought it used and soon after it started dying at stops, going down the freeway, etc. I've read the posts and it all sounds like same problem. Well, off to work one morning and it dies on me. Started loosing power and pulled off the road and it dies. I have a couple of mechanic friends and they tell me the #1 piston rod is stretched. It blows oil out the dipstick. Vaccuum runs backward. Timing belt was still good. Didn't appear to jump time.
Any help? I'm looking for a new engine.
It only had 67,000 miles on it. Changed oil 500 miles ago.

It hasn't been using a lot of oil. I was just driving to work about 65mph when it just lost power.
We thought it might have jumped time, When we got to the belt it was were it should be. I bought a new one just in case, but we couldn't turn the engine. It's locked up. Still full of oil.

I've never heard of a stetched connection rod, especially on the 3.2L. If that was the case, That piston would have smashed against the valves. If your engine is not knocking and you are not loosing oil press (bad bearing), the engine is probably fine. You will have to do a compression test to see if the valve timing is correct or not.
G/luck
