Re: Exhaust time

Theres so many threads on this topic, search.

Apexi N1 if you want noticeable gains, GReddy Evo2 for low-deep sound.

Re: Exhaust time

I'm kinda partial to Greddy Evo 2, but RS*R Exmag has a quiet deep tone, and the apex'i N1 is more higher pitched/louder. But yeah, you need to search.

HKS sounds sick. There was this kid in my school with an STi and he had an HKS Super Dragger on his car and it sounded sooo nice. Bad thing is, I dont think HKS makes exhausts for Preludes.

Re: Exhaust time

You can't really compare an STi sound to a honda sound, it's much different (turbo vs. NA). I've never really heard a bad exhaust on a WRX, they always sound good. On hondas, well, we all know that there's loads of crap out there. I'm partial to the RSR Exmag myself

I'm aware that N/A and FI are 2 totally different sounds, I was just simply stating that you cant go wrong with HKS for any car.

But as far as this topic goes, I would get an Apexi N1 over any other exhaust for a lude if you dont mind your car being a bit deep/loud. Plus, the N1 is proven to give the most gains to Preludes.

Yeah you cant compare the sound of a flat four and a inline four. They sound completely different regardless of the exhaust.

Re: Exhaust time

They sounds good. They are alot quieter then their big brothers, and dont yield as much hp. But they are close.

Re: Exhaust time

I have had a Greddy Evo II on my Si for about 2 years.. I like the sound and the fit. Exhaust hasn't rusted all that much either, since I've had it.

Yeah, right now I already have a aftermkt. exhaust on it, and I don't like the sound much. Its more of a humming, and it kills the sound while magnifying it. I'm looking for more of an OEM sound with a little better breathing and a little better sound.

(I have no idea what kind it is.. some odd brand like High Flow, or something. The inside measurement is 3.25 inches.)
