stretching

just wondering when is the best time to stretch moring,afternoon,night..also how long should i hold the stretch and how many times should i stretch each part(legs,arms.etc)and how many times a day? thanks in advance

if your going to strech make sure your warmed up first.alot of studys show that streching before an exercise does not reduce the risk of injury.when i do strech is ussally my legs after a long bike ride

different people have different opinions of stretching because different people have different results from stretching/not stretching.

one thing that is generally agreed on, is that you don't stretch a cold muscle.

also i do a bit of break dancing and then the next day my body is aching usally my back and waists..would that th cause of not stretching and will i become a bit more flexible??

lol.. that depends... is ur back and waist slamming against the ground? it depends what kind of hurt.. it might just be from the moves you are doing... if u are doing stuff like hollow back, then it might be your felxibility, but it might just be a good hurt from working out ur muscles and thent he hurt will eventually stop
