Thumbs up hud wiring

I bought a hud unit for my 94gp and I think it's a 97-03 unit. I think it will work if I rewire the dash connector. I have a factory shop manuel for the 94 (which has the plug schematic) but it would really help me if somebody had the connector schematic for a 97-03.

Thanks

Along those notes. The HUD in my 98 GT has pretty much died. It comes on for a flash once in awhile, but otherwise it is out. The dealer wants a ton of cash to replace it. Anyone know where you can get them cheap? And, is it hard to replace?

Bassett, this seems to be a common problem for the HUD. BIG-L gave a great writeup on how to repair it, which would be much cheaper than going out and buying a new/used one. Check it out:

But if you would rather buy one, I would check out e-bay...there's usually a bunch there for sale.

As you've already noticed the pin out is totally dis-similar for a later model GP HUD. Here's a jpeg image from a service manual for a '97. You'll need a viewer to zoom in. Save it because it will be deleted by tomorrow. Good luck!

Thanks for the schematic it will really help. As to where to get hud units I have bought 3 on Ebay one for $1.99 to 120.00 for panel, switch & unit
Be patience, you got to watch all the time for the deals.
