91' Rodeo 3.1L-New ECM or Not/or relay ???

well to start out - i pulled out the old heavy cluch fan and installed a 16" electrical fan to gain more horses and to get more mpg. lets not forget that sound - like an airplane takin off! lol i guess while to wiring it up i think i might of blown the relay or the ecm itself cause it won't start. i can turn it over and over but she won't fire. I can take some carb cleaner and spay it down the TB and she'll fire and run for a sec or a 1/2. what i was trying to do was tap into one of the relays in the engine compartment so the fan would only come on when the the car was turned on. in the the process of being a dumb ass and not relizing that the relay wiring is only rated for 15amps and the fan calls for 25 amp fuse, i've got myself in deep. well any ideas would be greatly appeciated. on how to test these items or what i should replace.
